| Description | Bow fronted mahogany chest of drawers on French [bracket] feet. Chest consists of a ‘brushing’ slide drawer and four graduated drawers. Each graduated drawer has a pair of gilt metal segmental drop handles on anthemion scroll back plates. Ebony and boxwood banding and stringing decorates the drawer’s fronts. A [later dating] detachable glass top has been fitted over the top of the chest. |
