DescriptionFully upholstered, easy armchair armchair with deep buttoned back and arms standing on turned mahogany legs on castor. Chair is with a loose cover of turquoise blue, cotton and synthetic (?) damask. The seams are piped with the same fabric. The cover is trimmed with a knotted, silk fringe at the lower edge. The cover closes at the back, proper right corner, with hooks and eyes. Machine stitched. Beneath the loose cover, it is just possible to see that the chair is upholstered with a top cover of gold coloured, damask, with a gimp silk trim and gold, silk cord piping. Underneath the seat the upholstery has a jute/hessian bottoming cover, over webbing. The upholstery is sprung.
