Description | A Paris Exhibition medal from 1889 cast with designs on both sides; one side has a mythological scene of a winged trumpeter and is marked Republique Francais (Liberty) and Linley Sambourne. The reverse has sun setting over Paris and above a scene of a goddess (Pax) crowing a god. Engraved around the edge ‘Exposition Universelle’. |
