Family Fun (5-10yrs): Crafting Christmas Tree Ornaments

About the workshop

Design and make your own Christmas tree ornaments inspired by the arts and patterns of Leighton House in this drop-in workshop. 

First learn how to make unique Victorian style Christmas baubles decorated with velvet, pearls and gems. Next discover the art of metal embossing and learn how to work with lightweight metal sheets to create your own decorations to give as gifts or decorate your own tree at home.

Useful information:

• Family Fun workshops are designed for primary school children aged 5-10 years old.
• The drop-in workshop will be running from 1pm to 4pm. Join in any time!
• Children must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop - workshops are not drop-off and the accompanying adult must stay with their child.
• This drop-in workshop will take place in the Leighton House Learning Centre and will also include access to the historic house.
• Accompanying adults (1x per child) come for free and admission to the historic house is included in the ticket price.
