Booking a ceremony

If you wish to make a provisional booking for a marriage or civil partnership ceremony, this can take place at a number of different locations.

The locations include the ceremony rooms at Chelsea Old Town Hall, the Mayor's Parlour at Kensington Town Hall and several Approved Venues in the borough.

The available ceremony rooms are:

  1. Brydon Room at Chelsea Old Town Hall
  2. Rossetti Room at Chelsea Old Town Hall
  3. Harrington Room at Chelsea Old Town Hall
  4. The Mayor’s Parlour at Kensington Town Hall

To make a provisional booking for a marriage or civil partnership ceremony in an Approved Venue you should contact the venue to confirm their availability.

Ceremonies taking place within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are subject to our Lateness Policy.

To view the ceremony rooms, please email us at registrars@rbkc.gov.uk with your preferred date of visit.

We will then respond with the times which the ceremony rooms are available to view on the date provided.
