About the event

Immerse yourself in the languid beauty and sun-drenched atmosphere of Frederic Leighton's Flaming June in this unique life drawing workshop. We'll delve into the captivating pose and radiant form of Leighton's sleeping muse, exploring the nuances of relaxed anatomy and the interplay of light and shadow that define this masterpiece.

Please note that the original painting is not on display at Leighton House but participants will be able to find inspiration from the only colour sketch that Leighton produced for his masterpiece, which is part of a new display case situated in the museum's new wing.
