Museums for your family
Step into two of London’s most enchanting historic homes and enjoy a day out the whole family can share. Just a short walk across Holland Park, whether you’re exploring the glittering Arab Hall at Leighton House or the whimsical collections at Sambourne House, these unique spaces make for a memorable cultural outing together.
New family trail: A Passport to Leighton House
Inspired by Victorian artist Frederic Leighton's travels, discover our new family trail which invites the inquisitive minds of children and adults to unlock the treasures of the historic house on a journey through art and time.
Ask for your free Passport at our Welcome Desk and don't forget to visit our team again at the end of the trail to collect your peacock stamp! Continue the fun at home by taking your passport with you to colour in the illustrations.
The trail is designed primarily for 5-10 year olds, but with a variety of stops and prompts it can be the springboard for conversation between parents and children of any age to engage with the museum collections.
A Passport to Leighton House family trail is supported by The Dr. Lee MacCormick Edwards Charitable Foundation.
