Led by our expert guides, the informative tours give a memorable insight into the Sambournes' lives and home, from interior decoration, eccentric possessions, to their day to day activities. The tour will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and includes an introductory film. Advance booking is essential

COSTUMED TOURS

As guests of Mrs. Sambourne or her parlour maid Mrs. Reffell, the actor-led tour provides a dramatic account of life at 18 Stafford Terrace, based on Marion's Sambourne's diaries. The tour will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and includes an introductory film. Advance booking is essential.

The Twilight Tours are special Costumed Tours hosted the third Wednesday of every month at 7pm . Advance booking is essential.

A self-guided visit that allows you to explore 18 Stafford Terrace at your own pace. On-site volunteer visitor assistants and information cards can provide background and answer questions.

 

Tickets: Adults £7 | Concessions £5: Senior Citizen (over 60s), 5 -17yrs, full-time student, disabled, unwaged, carer, Blue Badge Guide. Unfortunately we don't offer concessions for National Trust and Art Fund members. FREE for the Friends of Leighton House, ICOM and Museum Association cardholders. No booking required

 

PRIVATE GROUPS AND SCHOOL TOURS

Public open days are suitable for individuals, couples and small groups of up to 6 people.  If you would like to come with a larger number please visit Tours and School Visits page. Joint visits with Leighton House Museum are also available.
