Leighton and Clytie:  Artist in Residence

Part of the events accompanying the acquisition of the painting was a residency by artist Charlie Cobb.  Between 31 July and 23 September 2012, Charlie made a series of drawings and paintings exploring the relationship between Clytie and Leighton's life and work represented through the house and its contents. Charlie’s work was displayed in the winter studio as it was produced. He also worked throughout the house and garden exploring these different spaces and using a wide variety of materials, surfaces and techniques.
