AN OPERATIC SOIRÉE: A CELEBRATION OF LEIGHTON'S BIRTHDAY

Leighton House Museum’s Operatic Soirée returns to celebrate Leighton’s broad cultural interests and, in particular, his love of music; marking what would have been his 183rd birthday! His studio was the venue for his own ‘Musics’ and the evening, hosted by mezzo soprano Matilde Wallevik and friends, features readings and melodies that evoke these events and the appearance of the studio at that time.

Tuesday 5 December

7– 8:30pm; doors open at 6:30pm

Standard Ticket £35: includes access to the house, concert and interval drinks

VIP access £50: an exclusive package that offers front row seats and the chance to enjoy an exclusive champagne reception after the performance in the company of the singers and our Senior Curator as well as some special treats to be revealed on the night. Limited tickets.
