Following a sell-out success in 2015, we are delighted to be working again with Palimpsest, theatre, film and web company, to restage this multi-media play in Leighton's studio exploring the relationship between the artist and Dorothy Dene, his model, muse and confidante.

Scott Pohlschmidt, Director of Lavender Hill Colours will teach students about the use of colour and fabric in Flaming June, exploring the cadmium family, predominant in Leighton's masterpiece; the workshop also covers the anatomy of cloth, where it begins and ends and how to render the folds to greatest effect.

Sessions, led by London Fine Art Studios founder and artist, Ann Witheridge, consist of a mixture of short exercises and longer poses, with reference to the temporary exhibition. Open to artists of all levels.
