ARTISTS AND MAKERS

The Artist Studio

Artists are always inspired by each other. Encountering someone else’s creativity encourages imagination and inspires further artistic expression.

INSPIRED BY ISLAMIC ART. ONLINE WORKSHOPS

These workshops bring leading contemporary artists together with adults and young adults of all abilities who want to learn and create. The series reflects Frederic, Lord Leighton’s fascination with Islamic art, which is evident throughout his home in London. You will learn how to analyse, draw and paint motifs and patterns, exploring techniques and colour palettes, taking inspiration from some of the beautiful examples to be found in Leighton House.
