GUIDED TOUR OF LEIGHTON HOUSE MUSEUM

£12 per person; £10 full-time students (undergrad / postgraduate)

Minimum of 12 people, maximum of 30 (groups over 30 will be divided in two)

The tours explores the life and work of Frederic Leighton and provides fascinating insights into the history of his 'private palace of art'. We do not run specialist tours, as such, but if your group has a particular area of interest please do let us know in advance and we will try and tailor the tour accordingly.

The tours are led by one of our expert guides and during 2020 are available on either a Saturday or Sunday only between 10am-5.30pm due to our current Hidden Gem to National Treasure restoration.

 

SELF-GUIDED VISIT TO LEIGHTON HOUSE MUSEUM

Maximum of 30 people

Self-guided groups need to book in advance to visit the house so that we can manage visitor numbers and flow. Self-guided groups will be asked to pay in advance; this will speed up your entry to the museum so you can get straight on with enjoying your visit.

External guides are welcome to give tours in the house; we ask that you ensure there is still access to all the rooms for general visitors.

Guidebooks and exhibition catalogues are available to purchase.

During 2020, visits can only take place on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am to 5:30pm due to our current Hidden Gem to National Treasure restoration.

 

THE HOLLAND PARK CIRCLE: ARTISTS HOUSES PRIVATE TOURS

£15 per person; £12 full-time students (undergraduate/postgraduate)

Minimum of 5 people, maximum of 10

Victorian artists including Val Prinsep, G F Watts, Luke Fildes, Marcus Stone and Leighton himself commissioned grand studio-houses from some of the leading architects of the day and formed the so-called ‘The Holland Park Circle’.

Led by one of our expert guides, these 90-min tours uncover the fascinating stories behind the creation of the Holland Park Circle and the external architecture of these grand artist houses, located on Holland Park Road and Melbury Road.

Payment should be made in full at least TWO WEEKS in advance to confirm your booking and is non-refundable.
