The Early Years Speech and Language Therapy Service is available to preschool children (0 - 5 years: end of reception class), who have speech, language and communication needs. 

Our Speech and Language Therapy service mostly takes place in clinics, children’s centres, nurseries and nursery classes attached to schools. The support we provide includes assessment of needs, group and individual therapy for children, and training and collaborating with parents and carers and staff involved in the child’s care. 

We offer a range of 2 hour online workshops and related 1 hour online  coaching sessions for Bi-Borough Early Years practitioners in nursery settings.

We are offering live virtual training on:  

  • Setting Up Social Communication Groups in Your Setting 

  • Making Sense of Echolalia   

  • Working with Children with Developmental Language Disorder 

  • Signing and Visual Support  

  • Building Vocabulary in Your Setting 

  • Using Colours to Build Sentences

  • Talking Tables

  • Emotional Regulation
