Emotional wellbeing and mental health
Actions

A variety of services are available to support children, young people, and families with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in managing emotional wellbeing and mental health challenges.
To help you access the right service, we’ve organized the available support using the Thrive Framework, which categorizes services based on levels of need. This framework makes it easier for you to identify and navigate the appropriate support.
The Thrive Framework
The Thrive Framework divides services into four categories:
- Getting Advice and Information
- Getting Help
- Getting More Help
- Getting Risk Support
Explore the categories below to find the service that best matches your needs:
1. Getting Advice and Information
For children and young people experiencing mild or temporary difficulties, or for those managing their mental health independently or recovering. Services in this category focus on providing advice, signposting, and guidance.
