Speech and language therapy in the early years

Actions

Speech and language therapists run drop-in sessions at children’s centres for parents/carers to find out more about speech and language needs, the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) service, and discuss any concerns they have with their child’s speech, language, and communication development.

Further support provided for preschool age children (0-5 years) includes assessment of needs, group and individual therapy, and training and collaborating with parents and carers.

For more information, please visit the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) service page.
