Who's Who in the Education Service?

As Director of the Bi-Borough Education Service, Ian manages teams working to raise standards across education, support children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and ensure there are sufficient school places across Westminster & Kensington and Chelsea.

Richard is responsible for managing the Bi-Borough School Standards Service which monitors the performance of nurseries, schools and colleges, and delivers high-quality support to ensure excellence is maintained across the two boroughs. 

Julie is responsible for managing the SEN Service and Educational Psychology teams. She works to improve the quality of services available locally for children and young people with SEND and their families.

Jeremy is responsible for managing the Bi-Borough Educational and Child Psychology Consultation Service across Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.  He and his team have a core statutory role around education, health and care psychological advice.  The service aims to provide a high quality psychology offer to all children and young people their families and those that work with them, especially to those with additional barriers to their learning and development.

Steve oversees development of the SEND Local Offer, working with children and young people with SEND, their families, and related professionals, to ensure that our service offer grows in range and quality. Steve is also responsible for our SEN Outreach Offer, ensuring that children and young people have access to specialist support in areas such as autism and sensory impairment, and providing training and support to schools and settings to ensure they are able to meet a range of needs.
