Fire safety

Actions

The London Fire Brigade website provides information on common risks within the home and how to reduce them.

The site provides information on how to conduct your own home fire safety check as well as further support if you are worried about a child or young person who has set fires.

London Fire Brigade’s Firesetters Intervention Scheme, is a free service working with children and young people (up to the age of 18) who play with fire or who have set fires. If you know a child or young person you are concerned about, or you have spotted worrying signs, please talk to the team.

Information for schools

Virtual or physical fire safety workshops are available for schools. You can find further information on the visits and details on how to book on the school visits page.
