Celebrate summer by immersing yourself in nature. Make your own crown or garland using natural materials.
We will go for a guided walk in the secluded Wildlife Area of Holland Park where we will consider the uses of materials provided by trees and other plants before collecting what we need for making crowns and garlands.
- This session is for children aged 4 and above with an accompanying adult.
- Fresh herbal teas from the Ecology Centre garden will be available to try.
- We strongly recommend wearing long sleeves, coverd legs and closed shoes suitable for uneven ground as we will be gatherig plant materials. Covering up will help prevent scratches from prickly plants.
- Please be aware of the weather and dress accordingly, we will be outside for a portion of the session even if it rains.
