New Studio
Actions
We are a parent run pre-school in the heart of the community. We provide high quality care and education for two to five-year-olds. Our ethos is learning through play and we have a free flow day where children can choose to play inside or outside.
We have a large outdoor green space with climbing equipment, trampoline, sand pit and open space for imaginative play. Our parent involvement is an area of which we are very proud, both in helping with fund-raising and as equal partners in their child's learning and personal development.
We believe in a `learning through play` approach and provide a range of daily activities to encourage children’s creativity, curiosity and co-ordination, all within the early years curriculum.
We have five fully trained staff look after a maximum of 24 children. Each child is monitored by a member of staff and a profile is kept of the child’s development. The profile includes photographs of the child at play and the creative work they produce. It records their progress and is available at any time for parents to enjoy and discuss with the appropriate member of staff.
