Chelsea Community Hospital School (CCSH) is a Community Hospital School providing education for children while they are in hospital and students who cannot access mainstream education due to medical or mental health conditions.
We are a hospital school providing education for students and young people while they are in hospital. We also provide places for a number of students from our local community who cannot access mainstream school due to their medical conditions and/or mental health needs and resulting special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
CCHS is based across five NHS hospital sites and community site. The NHS sites are Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, The Royal Brompton Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, Lavender Walk Adolescent Unit and Collingham Child and Family Centre. The community site is based at Bayswater Children’s Centre. Students are taught across all key stages in both primary and secondary.
