Patricia Yepes
Actions

My name is Patricia Yepes and my activity is TatuFun, I am located in Redcliffe Square SW10 in front of the park and close to Bousfield primary school.
I have 20 years’ experience teaching and caring for children. My slogan is "PROTECT, NURTURE AND EDUCATE IS MY COMMITMENT. I speak English, Spanish and basic Italian.
I work and care for small groups of children under 3 years old; this allows me to offer individual care and consider all requirements for each child.
I work in close partnership with parents in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. I also apply the Jolly Phonics method for teaching the letter’s sound in a way that is fun learning. Children learn how to use the letters sounds, to read and write words.
I provide individual plan and Progress Check for Babies and Toddlers, focusing on the areas of learning: Personal, social, and emotional development, Physical development, Communication and Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive arts and Design.
I have a well-structured routine with a timetable that also include going out daily to the park or library as well as the local museums.
My home is very warm and caring environment for all children. I provide a good variety of fresh food with nutritious balance.
I am attending an NHS program through the Dietician and Public Health to provide Healthy Eating Awards - Relationship to Early Years Foundation. I am fully trained First Aider
I am a member of the NCMA (National Childminder Association), NAS (The National Autistic Society) and have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
I love to include all parents in occasional events such as Christmas party, summer picnic, Easter and celebrate cultural and religious festivals.
TatyFun is proud to be an equal opportunities learning environment.

and am registered and inspected by OFSTED.I recognise the importance of parental involvement in a child's early years and look
forward to working together as a team to meet your child(ren)'s full potential. My objectives for the children include the following key points:
To develop the social skills necessary to help build friendships
To learn to work in harmony alongside their peers
To develop their social skills, mental and physical skills and knowledge of the world
around them to help prepare for the transition to school and the life challenges aheadEach child will be treated as an individual and their needs addressed from a holistic
perspectiveI aim to offer a balanced curriculum, in a home environment of stimulating and
constructive play and activities to develop creativity and imagination.
Early Years Foundation Stage
As a registered childminder, it is a legal requirement that I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. This covers the stage of children's development from birth to the end of their first (Reception) year in school. The EYFS is not a formal curriculum but a play based approach to care and education.
Play underpins all development and learning for young children and the importance of learning through play is woven into the Framework of the EYFS. Commitment 4 1 states "In their play children learn at their highest level".
The main aim of the EYFS is to support each child, regardless of their background, to achieve the five "Every Child Matters" outcomes of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution, and achieving economic well-being" (EYFS 2008). Meeting the needs of all children lies at the heart of the EYFS. It won't feel like learning - most children just see it as fun and play.
There are seven areas of learning which are all important and inter-connected. There are three prime areas which are considered critical for a child's learning and healthy development. In addition, there are four specific areas of learning which build on the prime areas:-
Prime Areas
- Communication and Language
Listening and attention
