Pangbourne House Montessori School
Actions

Pangbourne House is a Montessori school with creativity at its heart. It is a place where children can be free to satisfy their inborn drive to learn for themselves. Our wish first and foremost is to give you the confidence that Pangbourne House will be a home from home for your children. A place where children are able to express themselves freely, where they are loved, understood and enabled to gain social skills as well as develop a lifelong enjoyment of learning.
At Pangbourne House we understand that children need to be happy and confident before they are ready to start learning.
It is therefore our ethos to build the children’s self-esteem; to make them feel loved and safe. Once this is achieved the teachers can enable the children to follow their interests, to play independently, whilst learning social skills and beginning the preparation for all that is needed before moving onto their ‘big’ school.
This will include enhancing the development of literacy and numeracy skills. Exploring and experimenting with sounds, words and texts and developing mathematical ideas and methods to solve practical problems.
