I have been childminding for over 20 years and it's a job I love. I enjoy helping babies and children archive in my setting with interesting activities about everyday life. I love messy play and I always join in. I take the children to 2 childminder Drop-ins one being Meanwhile Gardens a beautiful outdoor space where the children explore for insects, flowers and enjoy freedom to play. I encourage the children to sit, look/listen with books we sing and dance and have fun. I am always there for the parents to have a chat if needed, I do a daily diary which is good for the parent that I don't always get to see. All in all I like to think that all the children I've had in my care have been happy and contented and have gone on to nursery/school confident in themselves.
