A great way to learn a new skill and be involved in the carnival atmosphere all year round. Classes are held in Mangrove's dedicated steel pan room at the Tabernacle.
These classes are FREE OF CHARGE but places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
The Mangrove Steelband is one of the most prominent in Europe. Formed in 1980 from a ‘Pan Round Neck’ group of the traditional type they have established themselves as a fully-fledged modern orchestra. The Mangrove Steelband is for the whole of our local and wider community, young and old, whatever race, colour, creed, sex or ability to participate and work together within the band towards a mutual goal
TUESDAYS: Under 6-11s - 4.30-5.30pm / 12-16s 5.30 - 6.30pm / Adults 6.30-7.30pm
THURSDAY: Under 6-11s - 4.30-5.30pm
FRIDAYS: Under 6-11s 4.30 - 5.30pm / 12-16s 5.30-6.30pm /
