SASH - Support and Advice on Sexual Health
Actions
SASH stands for Support and Advice on Sexual Health. We provide free, non-judgemental and confidential support to improve your sexual health, your relationships, and your mental health.
One-to-one support
We offer different types of one-to-one support to help you to achieve your goals, either with a member of our team or with someone who has been through what you are experiencing. They will be able to offer you information, support, guidance, and a safe space to talk about your sexual health and wellbeing.
Peer mentoring
Our peer mentoring groups are an opportunity to meet and get support from people who have lived experience of what you are going through. SASH runs two peer mentoring groups, one for gay and bisexual men and non-binary people who are living with HIV and the other for women of colour who want support with their sexual and reproductive health. The groups meet for regular socials, outings and workshops.
Family support
The SASH team offers specialist support for families who are living with or affected by HIV. We can help you to share your diagnosis with your family or children, give you information and advice on benefits or your finances and support you to get to other meetings or appointments you might have.
