Moms on a Mission (MOM) is a support programme open to all mothers and mothers-to-be aged 13-24 and living in Kensington and Chelsea. The support is focused on promoting personal development through helping the young mums to make positive choices for themselves and their children.
The support is available both on a 1:1 basis with a trained key worker and through group workshops with other young mums.
The workshops are held every Friday during term time from 12.30pm until 4.30pm at Holmfield House Children's Centre. Topics covered include:
- Finance and budgeting
- Housing
- Parenting skills
- Mental health support and resilience building
- Domestic violence awareness
- Careers, education, employment and enterprise
