The Stewart Bilingual School

The Stewart Bilingual School is a long established family owned nursery and primary school which is distinguishable from other bilingual schools by its dual French and British curriculum.

Our aim is to educate truly bilingual children in a happy, caring and culturally vibrant environment. Bilingual children are brighter, more focused and better able to multi task and to confidently adapt to a variety of surroundings.

With 40 years of experience in the field of bilingual education, we have developed a broad, lively and intellectually stimulating dual curriculum which draws on the strengths and richness of the French and British traditions.

Our ambition is to provide our pupils with solid academic foundations in both systems and languages, giving them the tools to transfer seamlessly and with confidence to either a British secondary school, a French Lycée or an International school.

We welcome children aged 2 to 11 from all nationalities, already speaking French and/or English as well as those who wish to acquire these two languages.

Breakfast club: Yes. Early arrival club from 8am until school doors open at 8.30am Monday-Friday.

After school clubs: Yes. After school care, language support classes and Clubs: 4pm to 6.30pm

Holiday club: No.

We offer a number of afternoon clubs and classes at our premises every day after school including:

• Chess
• Tennis
• Football
• Languages
• Drawing
• Piano
• Guitar

These activities are open to all children, whether or not they are enrolled at the school.
