Full of Life’s Parent Carer Forum provides training for parents and carers of disabled children and adults.
Professionals are often invited to these sessions to give workshops and training on topics such as Special Educational Needs, Occupational Therapy, Challenging Behaviour, Community Care Law, Safeguarding and Benefits.
It is also an opportunity for parents to share their experiences and expertise, and learn from each others journey of being a parent carer for a disabled child. Parents also gain invaluable emotional support from meeting other parents with similar/shared experiences.
