Bousfield Primary School aims to give your child the very best primary education, preparing them for their future life in secondary school – and beyond.

Nursery provision

The school offers nursery provision. Funded places available for eligible children.

This setting is registered to accept the Early Education and Childcare funded hours for:

• 15 hours 3 & 4 year olds (all children)

• 30 hours 3 & 4 year olds (working families)

Wraparound childcare / clubs information:

Breakfast club: Yes

Monday - Friday 8-8.55am for Reception to Year 6

A healthy breakfast is served before 8.25 am, and fruit served after 8.25.
Children can chat, read or play board games with their friends before going to class.
It is preferred if parents and carers apply for places on a termly basis and pay for the term in advance, however, ad-hoc places may be available for parents who need them.

After school club: Yes

Monday - Friday 3.30-6pm

Our new JAG After School Club will offer fun, happy, safe places for children to play freely and across age groups, as well as taking part in structured activities such as arts & crafts and active play. 

Sessions can be block booked in advance, parents and carers can sign up for the whole week, certain days, or ad-hoc times when care is needed. Whole sessions or half sessions are available so children can attend other clubs they might be interested in throughout the week.

Places may be available for Nursery, but only for siblings in the first term and up to a certain time only.
