Leighton House are looking for 5 content creators to collaborate with the museum as digital ambassadors during the ‘100 Years of Leighton House’ celebratory programme.
2026 marks a significant milestone in the history of Leighton House, as we celebrate 100 years since it first opened as a public museum, under the governance of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The centenary will inspire a diverse programme of exhibitions, special events and outreach initiatives, launching in October 2025.
Supported by a nation-wide PR campaign and extensive marketing activity, the programme will also feature celebrity advocates, award-winning artists and creatives, as well as reputable experts in art history, Islamic culture, interior design and architecture.

What we’re looking for
- Culture and creativity are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a broad range of interests and are keen to hear from creators who can offer a fresh perspective and approach.
- Instagram is our priority platform, but we are interested in hearing from applicants also active on TikTok and YouTube who would be happy to share content about Leighton House to these channels as well.
What we’re asking for
- A variety of video and image content related to the 100 Years of Leighton House activities (including exhibitions and events), shared to your account and remaining live between October 2025-December 2026.
- Tag the museum in all related posts and stories. Leighton House's Instagram handle is @leightonsambournemuseums
- Include the #LeightonHouse100 in all related posts.
- Supporting and sharing museum content throughout October 2025-December 2026.
Requirements
We are inviting social media content creators who fulfil the following criteria to apply.
- Applicants must by over 18 and based in the UK.
- It is preferrable that applicants live within a 90-minute commute to Leighton House in Kensington (12 Holland Park Road, W14 8LZ).
- Applicants should have an established following on an active and open Instagram account, which will remain public until at least December 2026.
- Experienced in collaborating and creating content for organisations and brands (not specifically cultural).
- Successful applicants will agree to allow the museum team to review and sign-off content before it is posted live.
What you’ll receive
From October 2025 through to December 2026…
- Free entry to Leighton House for you and up to 2 guests per visit.
- Behind the scenes access to museum’s content, related to exhibitions, collections and exhibiting artists.
- Invitations for you and a guest to attend our Exhibition Private View Evenings in October 2025, March 2026 and October 2026 – being amongst the first to see each new exhibition.
- Invitation for you and a guest to attend the annual Friends of Leighton House Summer Garden Party, which will be a special 100 Year anniversary event in the summer of 2026.
- Invitations for you to attend select public programme events, from creative workshops, to evening talks, life drawing, study days and more. On specific occasions a complimentary guest ticket will also be offered.
- 10% off in Leighton House and Samourne House shops (on-site and online shop).
- 10% off in the De Morgan Café at Leighton House, with complimentary refreshments to be offered on specific occasions.
- Further opportunities to collaborate and film your own projects at Leighton House and our sister museum, Sambourne House, dependent on venue availability, with arrangements to be agreed in advance at the discretion of the museum.
- Please note that this is not a paid opportunity and the museum is unable to support participation financially.
Application process & timeline
Interested applicants should complete the:
- Applications open on Friday 29 August.
- Applications close on Sunday 14 September at 23:59pm BST.
- The 5 selected final creators will be informed on Friday 19 September.
- Deadline for returning the letter of agreement for ‘100 Years of Leighton House: Digital Ambassadors’ Friday 26 September.
The five final selected creators will be invited to attend press previews, exhibition private views and events from w/c 6 October 2025 onwards.
