These 90 minute walking tours around the streets of Kensington will uncover the fascinating stories behind the creation of the Holland Park Circle and the external architecture of these grand artist houses, located on Holland Park Road and Melbury Road.

Victorian artists including Val Prinsep, G. F. Watts, Luke Fildes, Marcus Stone and Leighton himself commissioned grand studio-houses from some of the leading architects of the day,  forming one of the most diverse and creative artistic hub of the second half of the 19th century.

Who is this for?

Groups of over 18’s with an interest in fine art, interior design and architecture, and Victorian culture. Please come prepared with comfy walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing!

What is the capacity?

Maximum of 15 people per tour.

How much does it cost?

£180 non-refundable advance payment.

If the group is more than 12 people, an additional £15 per person cost will be incurred.

For universities, colleges and other adult educational establishments

£156 non-refundable advance payment.

If the group is more than 12 people, an additional £13 per person cost will be incurred.

Please note that this outdoor walking tour does not include your entry fee to either house. All payments should be made at least 2 weeks in advance and are non-refundable.
