Guided tours of both houses

Enjoy an art and history-filled day out in Kensington and visit two of the most iconic artists houses of the Victorian era.  Leighton House and Sambourne House are  located within walking distance and joint visits are usually organised on the same day, with a break in between.

Our expert guides provide with in-depth tours throughout the rich interiors of the two historic houses, including fascinating insights into their lives and careers. 

Please note that tours will take place when the general public are also in the building. 

Who is this for?

Groups of over 18’s with an interest in art, interior design, architecture, and Victorian culture. Or anyone who would like to learn more about these fascinating houses! 

What days can I book a tour on?

Any day apart from Tuesday (when the houses are closed to the public) from 10:30am to 4pm. Each tour lasts for approximately 90 minutes.

What is the capacity?

Groups of 15 people or less will be given a guided tour of one house, before a break, followed by a guided tour of the other house.

Groups of 15 people or more will be split into two groups, with each half being given a guided tour of one house, before a break and the groups then swapping over to see the other house.

How much does it cost?

£456 non-refundable advance payment. 

If the group is more than 12 people, an additional £38 per person cost will be incurred.

Concessions: universities,  colleges and other adult educational establishments:

£432 non-refundable advance payment. 

If the group is more than 12 people, an additional £36 per person cost will be incurred.

All payments should be made at least 2 weeks in advance and are non-refundable.
