2024 Admission Ticket Prices

From 1 April 2024, admission ticket prices at Leighton House and Sambourne House are changing.

As well as concessions for 65+, reduced ticket prices will now be available for full-time students, visitors with disabilities, and unwaged job seekers.

The new adult ticket at Leighton House will be £14 (was £11) offering access to an award-winning museum as well as our temporary exhibitions. At Sambourne House, an adult ticket will be £12 (was £11). Visitors can also book Joint Tickets for £22 (£26 if purchased separately) to visit both historic houses, located within an 8-minute walk of each other.

Revised admissions have been introduced to help subsidise free entry for certain individuals, including our Pay What You Want scheme, and support our learning programmes for local schools and community groups.

Plan your Visit

Free admissions and free to visit areas at Leighton House

We welcome all children aged 6yrs and under, accompanying carers, Blue Badge Guides, and members of ICOM and Museums Association to visit our museums for free (valid proof required on arrival).

Also, Art Fund members with National Art Pass receive free entry at Leighton House whilst only paying half-price at Sambourne House.

And did you know that there are areas of Leighton House which are free to access and don’t require an admission ticket at all? From our glorious garden and lively café, to free exhibitions in the Tavolozza Drawings Gallery, and free displays, including a brand-new Flaming June showcase highlighting Leighton’s preparatory drawings and the only Colour Sketch he produced for his iconic masterpiece  (to launch from 14 February).

Friends Go Free

With no revisions made to The Friends membership options, there’s never been a better time to join The Friends and enjoy a variety of benefits, including unlimited free entry to both Leighton House and Sambourne House from £30 a year.
