About the workshop

Join us in the Leighton House garden for a free, drop-in workshop where we will create sculptural seed bombs, made out of clay and pollinator-friendly seeds. Take inspiration from the sculptural forms and decorative arts of Leighton House and the natural beauty of the garden.

Take your sculptural seed bomb home, do some guerrilla gardening or leave it on display in the Leighton House garden. This workshop is a relaxed and environmentally friendly way to experience working with clay. As the unfired sculptures break down and seeds germinate and grow, they will create habitats and food sources to benefit insects and other creatures.

This event is part of Art History Festival 2025 organised by the Association for Art History.
