A big welcome from the Targeted Prevention Team (TPT)

The Targeted Prevention Team (TPT) is the Kensington and Chelsea specialist free service for young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).  The team is experienced in, and dedicated to, providing Careers, Education, Employment and Training advice and guidance for young people mostly aged between 16-19.

TPT also offers support, mentoring and coaching to young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET (identified whilst still at school including those younger than 16 years) and living in RBKC.

Our role is to support NEET or at risk of NEET young people into positive outcomes such as education, employment, apprenticeship, or traineeships and to help them sustain their career choice during the early part of their entry into EET.

Each TPT session is tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of individual young people. Regular one-to-one and interactive groupwork sessions are delivered in RBKC’s North and South youth hubs as well as other community settings.

We also work with other services and link with them to deliver projects like the Detached and Outreach Team (DOT) who support children and young people through targeted youth work.  For more information about the DOT see Detached and Outreach Team (DOT) | Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
