Description: | Three storeys and basement. As above. These are really part of South Terrace (qv) and with it form a group. Rusticated stucco ground floor arched entrances. Square-headed windows retaining glazing bars. Area railings. No 24 on corner to 3 windows with one window return on South Terrace. Alexander Square with Alexander Place, North Terrace (south side) and South Terrace to a layout of simple brick terrace houses all In the same style, circa 1825-30. No 24 was the residence of architect George Godwin (GLC plaque). |
