Description: | Dwelling houses. Circa 1830, probably by George Basevi. Centre, 3 storeys basement and mansard, 2 window houses, with 4 storey groups to centre and ends. Taller houses have tripartite windows to first floor. Continuous balconies except for taller houses. Ionic pilastered doorways. Forms Central section of formal stucco composition consisting of a curved centre and 2 detached wings. Wings:- Nos 26-30 (cf) form the west wing to the crescent. Nos 55-59 (cf) from the east wing to the cresent. |
