Description: | Detached house. 1875. Built for Sir Luke Fildes by R Norman Shaw. Red brick. tiled roof. Queen Anne style; picturesque composition. 'L� shaped plan with advanced wing to right of 3 storeys, 2 main bays. Recessed wing to left of 2 storeys, 2 main bays. Long sashed windows, punctuated by brick pilasters. Eaves cornice and pitched hipped roof. Cupola to left and dormer to right. Roof balustrade. Tall chimneys. Interior not inspected. |
