Join our family programme and special events for children at Leighton House Museum, a unique and opulent Victorian palace of art.

Calligraphy workshop

CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP: WRITING LETTERS INTO ART

Saturday 19 October, 2 - 3:30pm

 

Have fun writing in Arabic calligraphy with traditional bamboo qalams (pens) and colour inks, whilst using the dot (nuqta) to measure your chosen letter.

Families are invited to join award winning textile artist Ekta Kaul for a fun and creative afternoon exploring geography, locations and routes, places near and far, through stitched maps, which you can continue at home!
