As temperatures are set to be high this week, it’s important you act to protect your health in the heat by:
- Drinking plenty of water
- Avoiding alcohol
- Slowing down when it’s hot
- Paying attention to the forecast
- Walking in the shade, applying sunscreen and wearing a wide-brimmed hat if you have to go out in the heat
It may be cooler outside in the shade than in a hot building. If you do use outdoor spaces, please be considerate of your neighbours, family and friends to make sure they’re also able to keep cool.
