Grenfell Community Assembly
The Grenfell Community Assembly is a forum that provides the North Kensington community with the opportunity to come together and discuss issues that matter to them with the Council and its partner agencies.
Meetings focus on different themes each time depending on what residents vote to discuss. Following the event, a written record of the discussions is provided along with a document detailing how the Council and its partner agencies plan to respond to any issues raised throughout the Assembly.
The Grenfell Community Assembly met for the first time in September 2019. You can find details of all the Grenfell Community Assemblies held since then below.
The latest Assembly
The last Grenfell Community Assembly was held on Monday 6 February 2023 at the Harrow Club from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
We partnered with Kensington and Chelsea Social Council to help combat the cost of living by hosting a community warm hub. The event featured stalls that included advice on saving energy, welfare rights, financial health checks and information about handling money and debts.
Resident feedback
At the last Assembly, we also gave residents the opportunity to feedback how they would like future Grenfell Community Assemblies to develop.
This feedback is displayed for residents to read and download in the report below.
We are currently finalising a response to the feedback which will include how the Grenfell Community Assembly will move forward. Once complete, it will be uploaded onto this page.
