After a day of intense heat, residents of Campden House, Tor Court, and Johnson House gathered in their communal gardens for a relaxed evening of drinks and conversation.
Resident Association representatives Rosie and Natalie organised the summer get-together with support from the Council's resident engagement team. As neighbours chatted and made new connections, the event provided the chance to speak directly with their ward councillors, Preeti Hudd, Lloyd North, and Catherine Faulks, and director of housing management, Jahed Rahman.
The informal setting encouraged open and constructive conversations between residents, councillors and senior council officers in a relaxed environment.
Residents praised the event, with one resident saying it was "good to meet the new Director and neighbours from other flats", while another described it as "a lovely evening gathering". Others highlighted how helpful it was to "put names to faces" and connect with fellow residents.
