The Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster CAMHS SEND teams produce a regular newsletter for families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
These newsletters bring together helpful, accessible information about what is happening locally, including:
- Upcoming events and activities for children, young people and families
- Parent support groups and courses, including reflective groups and behaviour support programmes
- Local opportunities such as inclusive arts, sports and social groups
- Featured resources and tools to support wellbeing, communication and development
- Useful updates and ‘Did you know?’ information to raise awareness of services and support available
The newsletters are created by clinicians working across CAMHS services in Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster and are designed to help families stay connected, informed and supported.
They complement the Local Offer by highlighting real, practical opportunities and support taking place locally each month - from short-term activities to longer programmes that support young people’s development and parent wellbeing.
