Your security, our responsibilityThe Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea takes internet security extremely seriously. All online payment transactions take place through secure networks using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This technology encrypts all the information involved in a transaction, for example your credit card details, vehicle registration number or Council Tax account number, so that it is unrecognisable and safe.
If you look at your browser window you will see an unbroken key or lock which shows you the website area is secure. We do not store your credit card or debit card details. Once you have completed this transaction we do not keep your credit card details on our servers.
Before you apply for the dis-application of the condition requiring a designated premises supervisor
As part of your application you will need to provide the following
- Application form for the mandatory alcohol condition requiring a designated premises supervisor to be disapplied
- The premises licence (not required if the application is submitted alongside an application for the grant of a licence)
- Documents which identify the premises and how it is managed
- Copies of any hiring agreements
- Application fee of £23 (not required if the application is submitted alongside an application for the grant or variation of a licence)
If you do not have electronic copies, scanned documents are acceptable, providing the relevant information is clear.
If you're unable to provide electronic versions of these documents you will be unable to apply online.
After you apply
There is a 28 day consultation period, during which time the police can object to the application if they consider that granting the application would undermine the crime prevention licensing objective. If no objections are received, and the authority is satisfied that the arrangements for the management of the premises are sufficient to ensure adequate supervision of the supply of alcohol, the application will normally be granted and the alternative condition will be added. If a police objection is received we will let you know the next steps.
