Coronavirus mobile testing

Tuesday 1 December 2020

A mobile testing unit will be at Olympia, in the Motorail Car Park, Wednesday 2 and Saturday 5 December from 10.30am to 3.30pm.  Further testing will be available Tuesday 8 and Friday 11 December.

A new mobile testing unit is also available at the South Ground, Royal Hospital, Chelsea Embankment SW3 4LW on Thursday 3 and Sunday 6 December from 10.30am to 3.30pm.  Further testing will be available Wednesday 9 and Saturday 12 December.

You must register online to attend.  You can register if you have symptoms.

Once you are registered you will receive confirmation of the time you must attend the testing site, you will only be allowed in with this information.  If you have symptoms then you should follow PHE guidance and remain self-isolating and when attending the mobile testing centre you do so by using your own car.

Any individual wanting to be tested must have registered online before attending.

Only get a test if you have coronavirus symptoms or have been asked to get tested. We all need to play our part to protect the NHS Test and Trace service for those who really need it.

If you have any coronavirus symptoms you must isolate immediately for 10 days, don’t wait for a test or a test result before doing so.

If you are identified as a contact of a positive case, you must isolate for the full 14 days, even if for some reason you got a negative test during that period.

The most important thing we can all do to prevent the spread of the virus is to remember the basics:

Wash your hands more often than usual for 20 seconds, especially as soon as you get home
• If you can, cover your mouth and nose when in places where it’s hard to stay away from other people you do not normally meet
Keep your distance - try to stay at least 2 metres (3 steps) away from anyone you do not live with (or anyone not in your support bubble)

There is also a semi-permanent testing unit in North Kensington which is open seven days a week.
