The Grenfell Projects Fund and Community Leadership Programme are returning – and the Kensington and Chelsea community can help shape both schemes by taking part in a public consultation.
We have launched the six-week consultation to discover people’s opinions on last year’s programmes and thoughts on what could be improved when they return in spring 2021.
Early feedback has raised a host of useful suggestions, including making the Grenfell Projects Fund’s decision-making process more inclusive and allowing residents to identify the Community Leadership Programme courses they feel would be most beneficial.
The consultation includes surveys which can be completed online or via hard copy as well as virtual drop-in sessions scheduled for Thursday 25 February, 5pm to 7pm, and Friday 26 February, 2pm to 4pm, where both schemes can be discussed.
Cllr Anne Cyron, Lead Member for Communities, said:
“Our dynamic residents and community groups adapted to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic to deliver some inspirational sessions through the Grenfell Projects Fund and Community Leadership Programme in 2020.
“They know better than anyone how we can use the lessons learned last year to continue improving and I encourage everyone to make their voice heard by completing the surveys.”
Complete the Grenfell Projects Fund survey and the Community Leadership Programme survey by Thursday 1 April. Should you need support in another language, would like to request a paper copy of the survey, or would like someone to complete this on your behalf, please call Kevin Ramsey on 07857 696791 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
