Residents and businesses are invited to come and view the latest proposals for new homes and community facilities for the Edenham site in North Kensington at two online chat sessions later this month (February).

The second round of consultation kicks off with the online chat sessions on Tuesday 16 February from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and Saturday 20 February from 10.30am to 11.30am. Residents can take part via Zoom.

Our New Homes Delivery Programme (NHDP) has identified the site adjacent to Trellick Tower, called Edenham, as the first part of Phase 2 of the NHDP. The programme aims to provide 600 new homes in the borough, with a minimum of 300 at social rent alongside opportunities for intermediate housing that can be used for key workers.

At the end of last year we held the first round of consultation for the Edenham site. We received almost 100 feedback forms and 49 local residents, organisations and businesses attended our two online chat sessions to give us their views.

You told us that accessible outdoor space, graffiti walls and improved lighting were extremely important to you. You also said that any improvements we make should make the area feel safer. We also know that you want to retain the heritage and culture of the area as well as ensure we provide affordable homes for local residents. You can view all the feedback from the first round of consultation in the full report on our website.

Our latest proposals have taken on board this feedback and in our online chat sessions you’ll be able to view the latest designs and provide your feedback. You can also view them on the Edenham web page. We are encouraging residents, community groups and businesses to complete our feedback form.

The deadline for comments and feedback relating to this round of consultation is Thursday 25 March 2021. For further details you can email the NHDP team at [email protected]
