Environmental checks are due to be carried out around Kensington Leisure Centre and Kensington Aldridge Academy from Monday 18 January.
The work, which will last for approximately a fortnight and is part of the planning sign-off for the school, will involve soil samples being extracted by hand from around the grounds and sent to a laboratory for analysis.
Digging will be done at various depths and will take place between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
