Residents with children accessing Free School Meals can enjoy a free box of nutritional food and ingredients this week by visiting their local library. Boxes have been purchased from Kitchen Social.

Three libraries in Kensington and Chelsea have a limited number of food boxes for residents to come and collect. The boxes are offered as part of the Council’s Holiday Activity and Food Programme which brings together information on food offers and activities for young people to get involved with throughout the Easter break.

Contents of the boxes may vary but should include ingredients to make a tasty chickpea and sweet potato curry, spicy beanburgers with avocado salad and a chilli-non-carne (meat free).

You can come and collect a box from any of these three libraries:

  • North Kensington Library
    108 Ladbroke Grove
    W11 1PZ
  • Kensington Central Library
    12 Phillimore Walk
    W8 7RX
  • Chelsea Library
    Chelsea Old Town Hall
    King's Road
    SW3 5EZ
